Characteristic: Yellow-red or brownish-red oily liquid, has acrid odor like thyme oil, practically insoluble in glycerol, soluble in water, ethanol, majority nonvolatile oil and propylene glycol.

Quality specification: Chemical synthesis, composed of carvacrol and thymol, which total content is more than 75%. (General, more than 80%)
